Website wireframes that fix the plan before anyone picks a font
A website wireframe is where changing your mind costs the least. Our UX team settles what each page must prove, and in what order. You get a brief any team can build from.
“The entire process was seamless, easy, and incredibly user-friendly. They were patient and flexible with all the changes and back-and-forth... Most importantly, they absolutely nailed the brief.”
Placeholder text hides every problem in a plan. We write the headings and first lines for each section. A section only works if something true fits in it.
You get a brief with the structure, the copy and the reason for each section written down. It's yours, and any team can build from it, including one that isn't us.
We walk you through it and hand it over as a brief your team or ours can build straight from.

The long read
Why grey boxes save you the expensive week.
Every structural problem is cheap while it's a rectangle. It gets expensive once it has a font.
01
The cost of a change keeps climbing
Moving a section in a wireframe takes an hour. Moving it after design takes a week, because the copy no longer fits and the layout was balanced around it.
An hour, then a week. That's the whole case for doing this first.
The work doesn't disappear either way. You just pay a different rate for it, depending on when you find it.

Illustrative: the shape rework cost takes across a project, not a measurement.
02
Lorem ipsum hides the problem
Placeholder text fits any box, which is exactly what makes it useless.
Write the actual heading and half the sections fall over, because nothing true fits in them.
That's a good thing. It's far better to find out while the section is a grey rectangle. Finding out after 2 days of design work hurts.

The brief is what you're buying
You get the structure, the copy and the reasons, all written down.
Any team can build from it, including one that isn't us.
We'd love to build it, obviously. But a wireframe you can't take elsewhere is a lock-in with a nice diagram on it.

“Up until working with Casey, we had only had poor to mediocre
experiences outsourcing work to agencies... instead of needing
babysitting like the other agencies we worked with, he was not only
completely dependable but also gave us sound
suggestions on how to get better results.”

Questions
Website wireframe questions, answered straight.
What you need to know before we start a conversation.
A website wireframe is a plain grey plan of each page. It shows which sections go where, what each one says and where the buttons and forms sit. It leaves out colours, fonts and photos. That way you can agree the structure and the message before any design time is spent.
Can we take the wireframes to another team?
Yes. You get a written brief with the structure, the copy and the reason behind each section. It's yours to keep, and any developer or agency can build from it. We'd like to build it for you, but you're never locked in to us.
How long does website wireframing take?
Wireframing is a slice of the full website timeline, and most full websites take 4 to 12 weeks. A handful of key pages takes less time than a full set of templates. You get a dated schedule in your fixed quote before you commit to anything.
If you build the site too, do we pay for the plan twice?
No. The structure and the copy carry straight into the build, so nothing gets redone. Your fixed quote shows the wireframing and the build as separate line items. You can see exactly what each part costs before you say yes.
