Website terms of use

The rules for using this website, in plain English. They are short on purpose.

Last updated 28 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by The Trustee for The CJ Trust (ABN 70 402 027 298), trading as Website Development Group. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Trustee for The CJ Trust, and "you" means anyone using the website.

3. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any system connected to it;
  • introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site's operation or its security;
  • send spam or automated submissions through our forms, or submit information that is false or belongs to someone else without their consent.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time, for example for maintenance or to protect its security.

4. Information on this website

The content on this site is general information about our services. It is not professional advice for your particular circumstances, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice about your own business, legal or regulatory position.

Where a page shows an example, a sample search or a figure described as illustrative, it is there to explain how we work and is not a measurement or a promise of a particular result. We aim to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we may change or remove content without notice.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website, including its text, design, graphics and code, is owned by us or used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You must not copy, reproduce, republish or adapt any part of the site for commercial use without our written permission.

Client names, logos, screenshots and trade marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners.

6. Enquiries, quotes and projects

Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract. Any quote we give is based on the information available at the time and is an invitation to discuss, not an offer that binds either party.

Every project we take on is governed by a separate written proposal and agreement setting out its scope, price, timing and terms. If anything in those documents differs from these terms, the project documents apply to that project.

This site may link to websites run by other people. We link to them for convenience only. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your information.

8. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our privacy policy explains what we collect through this website, including through our contact form, and how we use it.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Liability

Subject to clause 9, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, your reliance on its content, or any interruption, error or security issue affecting it. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

13. Contact us

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected], or through our contact page.
