The rules of the trade

What buyers check before a tender.

Industrial sites are read by people with a form to fill in. We shape the build around what that form asks.

  1. HSEQ is read before capability

Buyers look for your safety, quality and environmental systems before they look at your work. The site states which systems you run and how to request the documents.

  2. Certifications shown with their dates

ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 are listed only where you hold them, with the certifying body, scope and expiry date you supply. A system you are working towards is described as exactly that.

  3. Prequalification named plainly

Many operators require suppliers to be registered on a prequalification platform. The site lists the ones you are registered on, in your words, so a buyer can confirm it on their side.

  4. The capability statement stays current

Procurement teams want a document they can file. We build it as a page and a PDF from the same content, and every download is tracked in GA4.

How it runs

From first call to launch, minus the headaches.

You see the page plan before design starts, and the design before we build. So there are no nasty surprises at the end.

Discovery

It starts with a call

A conversation about what you sell, who buys it, and what the current site is costing you.

What we deliver

  • Goals and constraints
  • Current site review
  • Competitor snapshot
  • Fixed quote with line items

Every page in your sitemap matches a search people make.

What we deliver

  • Keyword and intent map
  • Competitor gap analysis
  • Page-level architecture
  • Build priority order
A crowd of people crossing a busy city street, shot from above with their movement blurred

Design

We design the pages

We design a system of parts, and we check every colour pairing for contrast before it ships.

What we deliver

  • Design tokens and type scale
  • Component library
  • Contrast measured to AA
  • Homepage and templates

Build

We connect it to the booking system, CRM and ad accounts you already use.

What we deliver

  • Schema and structured data
  • Booking and CRM integration

The long read

Your website is part of your tender.

AI can make a contractor site look solid in an afternoon. Very few sites are built to be checked. That part takes planning.

The shortlist is made before anyone calls

A procurement officer builds a shortlist from a search, a register and a few websites.

Your site might not say which systems you run, where you work or what you have delivered. Then you were never on the list, and nobody rings to ask.

So we write the site to answer questions in the order a compliance matrix asks them.

What a buyer checks, and what a typical contractor site shows
Shown on the site Left for a phone call

Your own plant beats a stock photo of a hard hat

A buyer can tell a stock image from your own crane in half a second.

Your own gear, on your own sites, tells them you work at the scale you claim. Your people in the right PPE say the rest.

We plan the shot list with you, so the photos answer the same questions the copy does.

Clear pages for your key capabilities

A single services page listing fabrication, blasting, coating and installation ranks for none of them.

We build one page per job, each with the materials, tolerances, equipment and regions that apply to it.

That is also the page a buyer forwards to the engineer who has to sign off.

Questions

What contractors ask us before they sign.

What you need to know before we start a conversation.

Not answered here? Ask us directly

Can the site hold our capability statement?

Yes. We build it as a page and make the PDF from the same content, so updating one updates the other. Each download is tracked in GA4, so you can see how often it is taken and from which page.

We work in remote regions. Can we rank there?

Usually, yes. We build a page for each region you mobilise to, with the work you have done there. Your office address stops being the only signal. Nobody can promise a position on Google, and we won't either.

Do you certify our safety or quality systems?

No. We present the systems and certifications you hold, using the details you supply. Certification comes from your certifying body.

Can we restrict some documents to buyers?

Yes. Sensitive documents such as full HSEQ manuals can sit behind a short request form. You see who asked, and the request lands in your inbox or your CRM.

What does an industrial website cost?

You get a fixed quote with line items after a free 15-minute strategy call. The number of capability and region pages moves it most. Our brand and website package starts from $6,100 + GST.

We are a new contractor with few projects. Is it worth it?

Yes, if you are about to tender. Buyers still check your systems, certifications, plant and people. We set the site up so each new project drops onto the right pages as you win it.
