SEO content writing with a plan (instead of a post and a prayer)

Our SEO content writing starts with what your customers actually search. Each piece gets one search to answer, a written brief and a link to a page that sells. Then we come back and refresh it before it slips.

What is included

Each piece answers one search. Then it points to a sale.

The content plan is built on 4 rules, from the first search we pull to the tenth refresh.

  1. Each search intent gets exactly one page, so your own pieces never fight each other for the same spot.

    How a build runs
  2. The search, the reader, the outline and the links are agreed in writing before anyone writes a word.

    See the work
  3. Every guide is planned with its path to a service page, so the traffic it earns has somewhere to go.

    The proof we show
  4. Each piece has a review date and gets updated where it sits. It keeps the address and the ranking it has already earned.

How it runs

From first call to launch, minus the headaches.

You see the page plan before design starts, and the design before we build. So there are no nasty surprises at the end.

Step 1

Search research

We pull the searches your market makes around your services. Then we sort them by the question behind each one, as well as by volume.

What we deliver

  • Search list for your services
  • Grouped by intent
  • What you already rank for
  • Fixed quote with line items
A business owner laughing during a video strategy call on his laptop, in a light-filled room with a window behind him

Step 2

Content map

Each search intent gets exactly one piece. Each piece gets a home on the site, linked to the service page it supports.

What we deliver

  • One piece per intent
  • Overlaps merged or retired
  • Hub and spoke link plan
  • Publishing order by value
A crowd of people crossing a busy city street, shot from above with their movement blurred

Step 3

Briefs

Every piece gets a written brief before anyone drafts it. The writer knows the search, the reader, the outline and where it links.

What we deliver

  • Target search and reader
  • Outline and questions to answer
  • Links in and links out
  • Meta title and description
Three colleagues around a table of laptops, one standing and gesturing at a screen while the other two look on

Step 4

Writing

Our copywriters draft each piece and check it against the brief and your claims rules. Then it goes live in order, with schema where it fits.

What we deliver

  • Drafts checked against brief
  • Claims and facts reviewed
  • Published with links in place
  • FAQ and article schema

Ongoing

Refresh

Every piece carries a review date. When its ranking moves or the facts change, we update it in place instead of writing a new post.

What we deliver

  • Rankings tracked per piece
  • Refresh queue each quarter
  • Updates to facts and links
  • Pieces merged when they overlap

The long read

Why more content is rarely the fix.

Most sites that stall on Google aren't short of pages. They have too many answering the same thing, and too few answering the rest.

Pages chasing the same search split the ranking

A site that has blogged for a few years usually has 3 or 4 posts answering nearly the same question.

Google picks one to show, and it's often not your best. When 2 of your pages chase one search, you're competing with yourself.

So the plan starts with what already exists. We merge the overlaps and give each search a single home.

An untouched piece loses ground slowly

Content doesn't fall off a cliff. It slips, a spot at a time, as facts date and newer pages answer better.

Refreshing a piece that already ranks keeps its address and its links. It's usually cheaper than writing the next one.

That's why every piece in the plan gets a review date the day it goes live.

What an untouched guide keeps
Traffic kept Traffic lost

Illustrative: the usual shape of a slow decline, not a measurement of any page. Your pieces are tracked individually.

What AI content gets right, and what it misses

AI can write a 1,500-word guide in under a minute. It reads fine, and it knows the basics.

The trouble is that it writes what every other page already says. Google already has a thousand pages that say the same thing. A piece earns its spot by adding something new. That might be your prices, your process or the question your team hears every week. That part has to come from you, so we go and get it.

When content isn't what you need yet

If your service pages are thin or confusing, guides that link to them just send more people to a weak page.

If that's the case, we'll tell you to fix the pages that sell first. Service page copywriting is usually the better first spend, and the content plan follows it.

Let's find the searches you're missing (before your competitors do).

  • One search per piece
  • A brief before every draft

Questions

SEO content writing questions, answered straight.

What you need to know before we start a conversation.

Not answered here? Ask us directly

How do you choose what to write about?

From the searches your customers make, grouped by the question behind each one. A topic gets a piece only if people search for it and nothing on your site already answers it.

How is SEO content different from a blog?

A blog is a publishing habit. SEO content is the plan underneath it: which searches deserve a page, what shape that page takes and where it links. Some pieces become guides or comparison pages, and the rest feed the blog calendar. Our blog writing service runs from the same map.

Can't we just use AI to write SEO content?

You can, and it'll be quick. But AI tends to repeat what the top pages already say, so it adds little that Google hasn't seen. Pieces that hold a ranking usually add something new, like your prices, your process or your team's know-how. That's the part we go and get.

Can our own team write from your briefs?

That's what the content plan option is for. You get the map, the briefs and the link plan. We can also read drafts against the brief if you want a second opinion.

How is SEO content writing priced?

Everything sits on a fixed quote with line items, agreed after a free 15-minute call. You know the cost of each piece before it's drafted.

How soon will we see results?

Most pieces take a few months to settle into their rankings. Nobody can honestly guarantee a position on Google, and we won't either. We track each piece from the week it goes live, so you can see which are climbing and which need work.

Can you write about health or other regulated topics?

Yes. For healthcare and NDIS businesses, our copywriters write to the AHPRA, TGA and NDIS guidelines. You stay responsible for your advertising. Written to the guidelines by our copywriting team. Not legal advice.
